4살 때부터 기타를 잡기 시작한 그는 밴드 ‘Electric Cadillac’의 프런트맨이자 자카르타 블루스 커뮤니티 ‘Blueshood’의 설립자로, 인도네시아 블루스를 세계적인 무대로 이끌어 온 주역입니다.
그가 이끄는 Electric Cadillac은 세계 최대 규모의 음악 페스티벌 중 하나인 호주 바이런 베이 블루스페스트(Byron Bay Bluesfest) 무대에 두 차례(2023, 2025)나 올라 Buddy Guy, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr., Christone “Kingfish” Ingram 등 전설적인 거장들과 어깨를 나란히 했습니다. 또한 대표곡 “Lockdown Blues”로 인도네시아 뮤직 어워드 최우수 블루스 프로덕션 부문에 노미네이트되었으며, 야마하 기타의 앰버서더로도 활약 중입니다.

Introducing the powerhouse of Indonesian blues, guitarist and vocalist Kongko Cadillac! Frontman of the acclaimed band ‘Electric Cadillac’ and founder of the Jakarta blues community ‘Blueshood’, Kongko is a true icon who has been championing the blues since picking up the guitar at age four.
A Yamaha Guitars brand ambassador and nominee at the Indonesian Music Awards, Kongko and his band have twice graced the legendary stage of Australia’s Byron Bay Bluesfest (2023 & 2025), sharing lineups with blues royalty like Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr., Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and Joe Bonamassa.
