Timothy O’Neill
‘팀’은 1997년부터 댄스 커리어를 시작해 블루스, 린디, 볼룸댄스 그리고 탱고까지 다양한 댄스를 배우고 가르쳐 왔으며 소셜댄스에서 주로 보이는 사회적 역학 및 바디 랭귀지에 관한 사회학 석사 학위 논문을 발표할 정도로 춤과 몸의 움직임에 대한 구체적 이해를 뒷받침 하고 있는 멋진 댄서이자 프로페셔널 강사 입니다. 2009년 이후로 지금까지 여러 큰 블루스 댄스 이벤트(블루스샤우트등)에서 훈련하고 가르쳐왔으며 총 12회 넘게 대회에서 우승을 차지 하였습니다. 재미 그리고 그 재미를 통한 춤의 실력과 스킬을 향상시키는걸 춤의 철학으로 하는 ‘팀’과 함께 코블캠에서 오리진의 매력을 한껏 느끼실 수 있기를 바랍니다!
Tim O’Neill started dancing in 1997 and couldn’t stop! He has studied and taught Blues, Lindy, Ballroom, and Argentine Tango and has written two academic theses for a Masters in Sociology on social dynamics and body language observed in dance venues. Since 2009 he has trained and taught at the biggest Blues Dance events in the world and has over a dozen Blues competition titles to his name. Tim believes the best way to dance is to have fun, and learning dance enhances that ability. When taking Tim’s classes expect to laugh, have fun, be entertained, and learn—a lot. And be sure to ask him to dance!
Flouer Evelyn
플로어 에블린은 뉴욕출신의 댄서로써 2010년부터 블루스댄스를 본격적으로 가르치기 시작하였습니다. 컨템프러리, 라틴 볼룸 댄스, 발레, 그리고 아이스스케이팅등 다양한 댄스 백그라운드가 있으며 Master of Fine Art(MFA)학위도 취득한 멋진 댄서이자 강사 입니다. 전세계에서 열리는 다양한 블루스 컴피티션에서 우승했을 뿐만 아니라 여러 강습과 공연까지 꾸준히 진행해온 플로어의 장점은 강의때 사람들이 더 많은 영감을 찾고 발견할 수 있도록 따뜻하고 정감있는 응원으로 이끌어 준다는것 입니다. 같은 동작이라도 더 다양한 리듬, 더 비쥬얼적인 표현이 특징인 플로어와 함께 코리아 블루스 캠프에서 여러분들만의 오리지널 느낌을 만들어봐요!
Flouer Evelyn is a dance instructor & Embodiment Coach from New York City, currently based out of Turin, Italy. She has been teaching blues seriously since 2010, has an MFA in dance and a background in contemporary, Latin Ballroom, ballet, and ice skating. She has won plenty of Blues competitions, and of course performed & taught all over the world. But what’s important is that in the classroom Flouer has a warm, encouraging personality. She is always pushing you just a little more, showing you a path to further success. She is known for her values of artistry and personal expression, complimented by her ability to break down any movement into incredibly specific detail. Using imagery, anatomy, rhythm, embodiment and concepts, she will build your dance from the ground up; all the while teaching you about the musicians you are listening to, why a movement evolved the way it did historically, and the cultural context from where it came.
Dawa Jung
다양한 폴리니션춤을 백그라운드로 시작해(훌라, 타이션, 사모안 등), 2008년 스윙댄스에 입문해 활동하다 리얼을 통해 블루스 음악과 문화를 접하게 된 후 2010년부터 블루스 댄서로써 활동하기 시작 하였습니다. 리얼과 함께 참여했던 여러 미국 블루스 댄스행사에서 블루스 문화와 춤에 대해 배워 왔으며 지속적으로 국내에서도 블루스 댄스 전파에 힘써 왔습니다. 특히 팔로어로써는 처음으로 미국의 bluesShout 그리고 유럽 Berlin Blues Explosion에서 블루스 댄스 챔피언(올스타)이 되는 쾌거도 이뤘습니다. 현재 리얼 및 여러 인터네셔널 강사들과 같이 여러 국제 블루스 댄스 행사에서 워크샵을 진행하고 있으며, 솔로 여성 블루스 댄스팀 ‘더 무치’의 리더로써도 활약하고 있습니다.
Dawa has many different dance backgrounds such as Polynesian dance, (Hula, Tahitian, Samoan etc) Lindy hop, Salsa etc. She started to teach blues with Youndon since 2012 and attended blues events in U.S. to explore and get more inspiration. She also loves to travel and spread blues dance and its culture in Asia and Europe too. She has competed at several Blues dance events in the States and Europe and became a finalist and winner of many blues events. Furthermore, she is not only teaching in the blues group called ‘The Blues,’ but she is also a leader of a female solo blues team called ‘The Mooche’ to spread the various styles of blues dance
Youngdon Kwon
2008년부터 블루스 댄스를 가르쳐 왔으며 지금은 2010년부터 시작된 Bluesweet에 이어 아시아 최고의 블루스 댄스 이벤트인 Korea Blues Camp의 오거나이져로 활발히 활동 하고 있습니다. 2005년 스윙댄스에 입문해 린디하퍼로 활동하다 2007년에 미국에서 블루스를 처음 접한 후 블루스의 음악, 춤 그리고 그 문화에 매료되어 2007-2008년도에 미국에서 열렸던 다수의 블루스 댄스 행사에 참여하게 되면서 본격적으로 블루스 댄서의 길을 걷게 되었습니다. 2014년에는 미국 최고의 블루스 행사 BluesShout2014의 Open Jack&Jill 부분에서 한국인 최초 블루스 댄스 챔피언(올스타)이 되었고, 그 후 2017년에 유럽에서 한국인 최초 블루스 댄스 챔피언이 되었습니다. 지금은 국내에 블루스 전파를 위한 노력을 하고 있으며 이외에도 여러 아시아권 나라들 중국, 말레이시아, 호주, 대만, 홍콩, 일본 그리고 러시아 및 유럽등지에서 정기적으로 블루스 댄스 워크샵을 진행하고 있습니다.
Youngdon has been teaching blues since 2008. He is also known as the organizer of Bluesweet & Korea Blues Camp. He started his dancing life with lindy hop background in 2005. But when he first experienced blues dancing in U.S.(2007), he immediately fell in love with the blues music, dance and its culture. He visits U.S. and Europe every year to get inspiration and try to spread Blues dance in Asia. He was a finalist and winner of many blues events in U.S. & Europe. He also travels to teach blues dance in many of countries in Asia and Europe.
